Don’t forget your groom! When selecting a great boutonniere it could be fun to make the groom’s look different then his groomsmen. He can match the bride or simply have a different flower or different styled bout than the groomsmen do. You can also use any flower for a bout! Roses, lilies, orchids and more. Adding hypericum berries, ribbon or unique pins can also be used for a personal touch and design. Be creative and let us help you make your man feel special too!

And the bride wore white…
There’s such an elegant beauty about an all white bridal bouquet. It sets the bride apart from the rest of the bridal party not just because she’s in a beautiful gown but she has a unique and magnificent display of gorgeous white flowers throughout her day. You can definitely create a bouquet that represents your personal style, taste and vision for your wedding day. You could even implement a small splash of color like light pink, green or purple to add a subtle pop. The pictures above our some of our favorites.

We have been noticing a lot of brides are all over the trend to use purple in their wedding. We love the idea! There’s tons of ways you can have purple accents in your wedding without looking the same as everyone else. For example, the picture of this bouquet we adore. It’s fun, vibrant, and gorgeous. If you’re having an evening wedding your bridesmaids can still wear LBDs but give them a small bouquet of royal purple blooms to make the attendants pop. If you’re not a fan of deep purples don’t forget the lighter shades of lavender, amethyst and violet.

If your groom has ever told you that having flowers at the wedding were an unnecessary expense, then here are a couple ideas to convince him otherwise.
1.) Invite him to join you when you check out the venue before it has been decorated.
2.) If you went to a friend’s wedding and you both had a blast, ask him what he liked about it. Some men will say food, some will say open bar. But, if you dig deep into “the why’s” you’ll figure out that maybe he liked the style, intimacy, grandeur or tone. If he knew how floral arrangements contributed to the overall production it would certainly change his mind set about the investment of flowers.
Although most grooms don’t get into details when it comes to a wedding, you will find that most of them want to ensure their guests have a good time.
At Bridal Flower Divas we want to help you create the right mood for your ceremony and reception. We can help you express that vision at a major reduction compared to the competition.

If you are getting married outdoors never underestimate the natural beauty of your surroundings. Oftentimes a runner does not fit well with a backyard, big tent, or garden setting so use rose petals. You can see in the picture below how the rose petals blend and compliment the arrangements on the alter, the grass and the surroundings so nicely. And, they aren't that much on your overall floral budget!

Aisle decorations can be a tough nut to crack when it comes to planning your wedding. This week we’ll give you two great suggestions for your wedding aisle. If you’re getting married in a loft space or church never underestimate the romantic glamour votive candles can have. Recently we did a wedding and the bride had a simple white runner with bunches of rose petals and 200 votive candles. All the guests loved the look and feel it gave to the intimate ceremony setting. Usually you can buy or rent votive holders for little cost. Some venues even have them on hand for free!

Are you planning on a winter wedding? If it’s in December or February consider this arrangement as an option. Stay away from all red…or around Christmas red and green. You can do almost any color for your invitations, bridesmaid dresses and table arrangements and allow these colors to pop and make a statement. They’re beautiful and will stand out in a good way.

Getting married and want to do something for the pews? Try this simple yet beautiful look of roses, greens, and hydrangeas simply tied with tulle. This arrangement could work for almost any setting and is simply stunning. Also, you don’t have to do every row. It’s a great way to draw a line of where guests of honor and the family will be seated. This look would also work with peonies...or for much less on the wallet substitute garden roses instead.
